Given what I know about fire (although I never saw the movie Backdraft...), the stuff that the F.A. fire spirit's melt crest does is actually possible. I do know that when a fire uses up all the air in a room, it will attempt to draw more by forming vacuum and sucking in air from under the door, and through any other opening it can find. Then, should someone actually open the door, the resulting air rush causes the fire to release all of its stored up potential, draw in tons of air at once, and, in effect, explode outward. I would imagine that such a poweI'll rful vacuum would also be capable of scooping up small debris and carrying it into the center of the fire, where the force of the suction is the strongest. Needless to say, this rarely works out well for the person who opened the door. ...Boy, I sure hope nothing like that happens to Ganon...
Oh, that reminds me. I got Krunal reading Commissioned when I told him about a Christmas special on it that made me fall out of my seat laughing...during a computer class. And he, in turn, got me hooked on Order of the Stick. So check those links out sometime (or seek the out in our external links page).
Ok, quick tangent here: I got an e-mail about a law that congress might pass that may give social security benefits to illegal aliens. I try not to get too political on the site, since the comic is supposed to be for entertaining purposes (and political discussions have a tendency to be angry and/or depressing), but I saved a copy of this letter. So, if any of you want to see it, you can contact me, let me know, and I'll forward it to you.
Enjoy,
