Episode 19: Screaming meteors

Episode #19 (posted by Jon) |
Now that's a shame. But hey, at least he didn't get launched into outer space, or suffocate from lack of air, right?
Anyway, I'm happy with how this comic turned out (thought I do feel kind of bad for the Emerald Fiend...), and if nothing else it does an excellent job of setting the stage for the events in the next episode. Just like I wanted, we got Ganon on the ground, and the final phase of the fight scene is ready to go. I know these past few comics might have felt a little short (the action :: dialogue ratio went up a bit), but we'll get it all sorted out next update, so no worries.
Well I've had a good Friday. I spent most of it playing Final Fantasy XII (probably not the best idea since finals are next week, but what can you do?), and I must say I am really enjoying it. Can't wait to see where the story goes. I'll probably be biding my time between FFXII and Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for the time being. Although Sonic and the Secret Rings is certainly tempting...
Oh, by the way, I went and looked up some trailers for Final Fantasy XIII (here), and Final Fantasy Versus XIII (here) - which is an action game made by the FFVII: Advent Children and Kingdom Hearts crews, that takes place in the same universe as Final Fantasy XIII. Both of them look awesome! For the time being though, I'm not going to be looking very hard for a PS3. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have one, but right now there aren't many games out for it that are screaming at me. Resistance looked alright, but I was happier getting a Wii for Wii Sports, Twilight Princess, and now possibly Sonic and the Secret Rings. But hey, soon as Kingdom Hearts 3, Final Fantasy [Versus] XIII, Devil May Cry 4, and/or possibly Assassins' Creed comes out, I'll be all over it!
Enjoy,
