Legend of Legaia was a great game. Although I did always find it odd that Gala had the strongest attack power, yet always did the least amount of damage because his specials had the lowerst number of hits. His spells were also diminished by his low magic power. While Noa, despite being the weakest character, did by far the most damage because her specials had the highest number of hits, and she had high magic power. And Vahn...meh, he just kinda did whatever. But I think it's safe to say that Gala would be the one in most dire need of a Seru upgrade. Ozma's spells just don't seem to pick up the difference...

Final Fantasy IX was a great game too (although as of now I would have to say that VII is still my favorite). I love the way it incorporated so much of the summoning spells into the storyline (via terrific CGI cutscenes). Watching Bahamut fight Alexander, and Odin blow that city to bits, was quite impressive. Speaking of which, I just got Final Fantasy XII a few days back, and I need to start playing it. It looks pretty good, so I'll probably write up a review for it later on.
