Episode 43: Or is it...?

Episode #43 (posted by Jon)
Smash Brothers: Brawl needs to come out...like right now.

Well everyone, it looks like Jeff is actually the one who won that last fight, not Ganon. Please take a moment to allow this information to sink in...................................ok, that's good enough.

Here is where I'm really starting to deviate from my original script. In my original script, Jeff was just a minor character who was at the wrong place at the wrong time, and got killed after Ganon activated the Triforce. This time around, he's obviously going to be a much more important character. And what, I wonder, has happened to Ganon...?

Everyone, I'm sorry for taking so long to upload this episode (see below), and that the comic updates have been so erratic recently, but I should be back on track now.

It's funny, when you miss updating for so long, the viewers start to worry that you may never update again. And then, as time passes, you yourself being to worry that you will never update again. But then you finally do, and everyone is happy.

Anyway, thanks for bearing with me (or bearing with the lack of me, or whatever) this weekend. I should be back on track now, and I'll have that Pirates 3 review I promised up later on today.

Also, we took a hit in the polls since I missed updating last weekend, so please vote when you have a moment.

Enjoy,

Episode #43: At SLO's End (posted by Jon)
Hey everyone, I'm afraid that I won't be able to get comic #43 up until Monday evening. I spent all most of Thursday preparing a diet analysis project for nurition - I'll spare you the list of things that went horribly wrong while I was doing that - attending classes, and driving to Oakland to visit with my mother, so I was not able to get any work done that day.

On Friday, I flew down to OC with my sister to visit my dad (his birthday is coming up, so we wanted to drop by). Originally, the plan was for my, my sister (Ally), and my dad to meet up with Krunal, Eric, Brian, Steve, and Tony around 5:00pm, and go see a 6:00pm show of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. I figured I would work on the comic from 9pm to midnight after it was over. Krunal offered to go ahead of time and pick up tickets, so we would not have to get there too early. Unfortunately, my dad did not want to go to that early of a show, so we pushed it back to 7pm. Everyone was supposed to arrive around 5:30, except for Eric who admits that he's going to be late.

Well we get home around 5:10, and everyone is late, except Eric - you know, the guy who was supposed to be late - he arrived early. Not only that, but Steve can't come and Tony needs a ride. Brian arrives around half an hour after Eric, and Krunal calls and tells us he's going to be especially late. Luckily he also agreed to give Tony a ride.

By the time Krunal and Tony arrive, it's around 7pm, and Krunal was not able to get any early tickets. Krunal and Tony are also really hungry, so we leave and go eat. Finally, we get to a 10:10 show of Pirates, which gets me home around 1am, with #43 barely even started. So I have two options: 1) get no sleep and still not finish 43, or 2) get a few hours of sleep, and finish #43 late the next morning. Normally I'm more the type to go for option one, but I was pretty tired so I went for option two.

And then disaster...

I neglected to take into account that I would have to wake up early the next morning to go with Ally and dad to pick up one of my aunts and one of my cousins at the airport. I am then informed that we will be joining them for breakfast at my grandparents' house. So we go, breakfast is good, and I had a great time. Next, we head back home. I figure we should be home long enough for me to finish #43 before we join my grandparents' again for dinner.

We get home, and I do a little work, but I'm still exhausted. I decide to take a one hour nap. Allison is supposed to wake me up, but she fails to do that, on grounds that she fell asleep too. By the time we wake up, it's already time to go to dinner. Once again we get home late, and I end up falling asleep before I finish.

So I wake up the next day, and I says to myself "enough! I am gonna get #43 done! No more waiting! No more falling asleep! No more Van Winkle syndrome! No more interference! No matter what happens, I am going to finish #43!" ...And then I realized that I don't have the right images on my laptop, so I can't finish until Monday when I get back to SLO.

...Man, if I had known that, I could have at least gone the whole weekend without worrying about getting it done.

Now, with all that out of the way, Pirates: At World's End was a terrific movie. It's even more epic and action-packed than the other, and still really funny. I'll try to have a review for it up on Monday.

Enjoy,
