And remember folks, useless secondary characters are people...or eidolons...or whatever-Carbuncle-is'es too! Oh sure some of them are annoying. Like Rafa in Final Fantasy Tactics, who automatically runs toward the assassins during the 'Riovanes Roof' battle, and it counts as a game over when they effortlessly kill her. Or some of those guys you're supposed to keep alive in Guild Wars perhaps. But yeah, they're still people!

Although I have to say, that was a pretty slick move by Carbuncle; using Ifrit's apparant love of hamburgers to trick him into jumping down that bottomless pit and all. I'll probably have him and Ifrit both appear again later in the comic.

Well, in other news, Final Fantasy XII continues to be awesome, and re-reading the earlier comics has made me really want to play Lunar 2 and Legend of Legaia again. I don't know when/if they're going to make a Lunar 3, but I hope they do. They did make another Legaia game (Dual Saga), which was good, but I felt it could have been even better. As a stand alone game it was nice, but I was hoping they'd do a tie-in to the first game by discussing what happenes with Cort. ...Actually, a game starring Cort could have been pretty awesome. Oh well, guess you can't have everything...
